Please see our full calendar for more information.

Park Changes & Updates

Attractions Available

Due to restrictions placed on the park this year, some modifications must bemade in our operations. We will do our best to provide a full experience, but please be aware that some attractions may be unavailable, or will be open/closed throughout the day.

Ride Park:  Our ride park will be split into two sections with rotating schedules.

Go-Karts and Mini Golf will be available throughout the entire day
12pm – 1:30pm Kiddie Rides: Go Gator, Kiddie Train, Carousel, Red Baron Planes, Race-Go-Round Kiddie Cars
1:30pm – 2:00pm Safety & Sanitation Break
2:00pm – 5:00pm Family Rides: Slick Track, Bumper Boats, Crazzzy Cars, Tilt-a-Whirl, Rock-O-Ride
5:00pm – 5:30pm Safety & Sanitation Break
5:30pm – 7:00pm Kiddie Rides: Go Gator, Kiddie Train, Carousel, Red Baron Planes, Race-Go-Round Kiddie Cars

Waterpark: We intend to keep most of the waterpark operating continually throughout the day, with the exception of short safety breaks.  However, depending on park traffic levels, it may happen that we close an attraction early, or rotate operation between two attractions (i.e. Typhoon Falls Waterslides operates for an hour, then Rockin Rapids operates for the next hour).

*These plans do not guarantee the operations of any attractions.  Attractions may still be subject to maintenance or repairs.  Attractions may also be unavailable due to park traffic or staffing levels.

Breakers Bay
Please do not enter any pool or attraction if proper social distancing cannot be maintained.  Capacity may be limited during particularly busy periods.

Unfortunately Breaker’s Bay will not be hosting our Sunsets Summer Concert Series this season.

Game Galaxy
Due to Directed Health Measures at the start of the season, the Game Galaxy arcade building will be closed this summer.

Balloon Ferris Wheel
Unfortunately, due to complications with shipping and service becasue of Covid-19, the Balloons were not able to have necessary maintenance completed and will not be operating in the 2020 season.

Season Passes

Please see our Season Pass page for more information.

Day Tickets

All single day admission tickets will have their expiration automatically extended through the end of the 2021 season.  Day tickets are valid for one use.

Ticketing Policies

Fun-Plex does not refunds for any purchase for any reason.  If you have purchased a ticket online or in person, and you are unable to use it, the ticket may be used on another date this summer OR next summer.

Please read this entire update to make informed decisions about your visit and always read terms and conditions carefully before making purchases.  Please see our weather policy for weather related issues.

Park Capacity

Park capacity has been increased since the transition from Phase 2 to Phase 3.  Park capacity is no longer expected to be an issue.  We will update this section if the situation changes.

Covid-19 Precautions

Guest Expectations

Health: Guests who have a fever or are experiencing any symptoms associated with Covid-19 should not visit the park. (Click here for a full description from the CDC).

Face Coverings: Guests are not required to wear masks at the park.  However, we do strongly encourage the use of masks, especially in areas that are enclosed (restrooms, concessions areas) and where close contact to staff occurs (admission gates, ride loading/unloading).  Guests are not permitted to wear masks while swimming.

Group Size: Guests should avoid gathering in groups larger than 8 and should generally try to stay with their small group as they participate in activities throughout the day.

Social Distancing:  Guests are expected to be respectful of others’ space as they move about the park and participate in activities.  This means keeping space between yourself and the next group in lines and possibly waiting to participate if a certain attraction is busier.   If certain pools or areas become crowded, staff may step in to help with targeted capacity restriction.

Employee Guidelines

Health Screening: Employees will have their temperature checked before each shift and will not be allowed to work if they have a fever or are experiencing any symptoms consistent with Covid-19.

Face Coverings:  Employees will be required to wear masks when in some customer interaction positions.  Masks will not be mandatory in some positions, such as some lifeguard posts, during the operation of some rides, where there are barriers between employees and guests, outside the park, in employee only areas, and when in areas no customers are present.

*Our mask policies may be modified as the summer progresses to keep our employees safe.

Park Modifications

Line Layout: All places where lines typically form will be marked with signage and/or visible indicators to keep groups at least 6 feet apart.  This includes lines for admission, ticketing, rides, slides, and concessions.

Seating Layout: Pool loungers and tables will be arranged in smaller groups, with space between sets.  Guests are asked to please not move park furniture.

Hand Sanitizing: Several stations will be added to the park for guest use.

Facility Sanitation: Added attention will be given to cleaning high touch areas like door handles, handrails, tables, chairs, fitting rooms, lockers, counters, etc.

Tubes & Lifejackets: Sanitized tubes and lifejackets will be available.  Guests may receive a free tube or lifejacket and are kindly asked to return it after use.

Fun-Plex only has a small supply of lifejackets for guest use.  It is encouraged that non-swimmers bring their own lifejackets.  No outside flotation devices, with the exception of coast guard approved lifejackets, are allowed in the waterpark, see our flotation device policy for more information.

Rides: Ride attendants will sanitize ride touch points (handlebars, steering wheels) after each ride.  A more in-depth cleaning, that includes seat, head rests, etc., will occur each day.

Restrooms: Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day focusing on touch points, with a full room sanitation occurring daily.

Covid-19 and Water

The CDC updated a statement on April 3rd, 2020 that reads:

“There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools, hot tubs or spas, or water playgrounds. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools, hot tubs or spas, and water playgrounds should inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19”.

Could Fun-Plex Close?

This summer our operations are dependent on many factors.  We are dependent on the good health of our staff and customers.  We are dependent on the health of our hospital systems.  We are dependent on the pandemic not worsening.  We are dependent on our local, state, and national government and health officials to guide us.  Fun-Plex may close at any time due to conditions related to the current health situation.

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before making any purchases.  Fun-Plex does not provide refunds for any reason, including Covid-19 related delays or closures.

Should I Visit Fun-Plex?

The decision to participate in public activities during a pandemic is personal and should be considered carefully.  Fun-Plex is making many changes and modifications to our operations to provide the safest possible experience, but ultimately attending the park is done so at your own risk and Fun-Plex holds no liability if illness is contracted.

Those who we encourage NOT to visit this summer:

  • People who are in a high risk category, or will be in close contact with someone in a high risk category: See CDC guidelines to know if this applies to you.
  • People who are not willing or able to comply with our safety guidelines.

We will not tolerate any guests who are disrespectful to the personal space of others. Nor will we engage in any unproductive discussions surrounding our policies, which are in place for your safety.

If you are ready to make the best of the situation this summer, we are happy to have you!
