Pages-for-Play Reading Program
Our reading encouragement program is open to any Omaha metro area youth in grades 3, 4, or 5. With the help of teacher facilitators and parents, we hope to inspire kids to read and reward them for their successes. The Pages for Play program is administered by teachers at participating schools.
Students who complete 10 hours of recreational reading will receive a FREE single day ticket to Fun-Plex ($29.95 value)! Teachers, to participate simply follow the Teacher-Facilitator Instructions listed below, paying careful attention to distribute and collect the reading logs by the indicated dates.
Program Details & Instructions
Registration is closed for 2019
The Pages-for-Play program must be facilitated through a teacher at a participating school. Contact Fun-Plex to request participation if you are an area school or home-school with kids in grades 3-5.
1) A Fun-Plex representative will verify your eligibility, typically within 7 days. You will then be emailed the 2019 reading log, along with the link to submit the completed logs at the end of the program.
2) Distribute logs to students. Reading logs should arrive in homes by the middle of February at the latest to allow enough time to complete the 10-week program. Registration for Pages-for-Play will close February 8, 2019.
3) Collect logs from students and submit results to Fun-Plex by May 3, 2019. Teacher facilitators will submit the names of students who completed their reading logs, along with their guardian’s email address. All submissions must be made electronically through the link provided by Fun-Plex. Paper and email submissions are not accepted.
All tickets will be emailed directly to the email listed by the parent on the reading log by May 24, 2019. In addition, a free day ticket will also be distributed to any teacher facilitator who submits at least 10 completed student logs.
Parents & Students: Any questions regarding the program should be directed to your teacher facilitator. If you do not receive your free ticket by 5/24/19, you may reach out directly to Fun-Plex.

Official Non-Profit Partners
We are proud to name the Midlands Mentoring Partnership as our Official Community Partner!
Fun-Plex has teamed up with the Midlands Mentoring Partnership to promote the importance of mentoring and to provide free access to the park for select area mentoring organizations. We know that this program will give some young people the chance to visit the park that might not have been able to otherwise. We also hope while floating along the lazy river, or competing in a challenging mini-golf game, both mentors and mentees are able to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and grow their bond.
Visit Mentornebraska.org to find out more about mentoring and the great work of MMP and all of their area mentoring partners.
